The City of Norman has this great thing called "The Splash Pad." For those of you who don't know what it is, I'll tell you. It's a fenced in concrete pad that has water toys. Remember running through the sprinklers in the yard as a kid? Think of the splash pad as an industrial-like running-through-the-sprinklers type area. It's great becuase kids can play in the water and parents have the peace of mind knowing that they can see their kids in the entire area and they won't escape... :o) And I also like the fact that I think it would be very hard for any child to drown.
We've taken Emma a couple of times this summer and she LOVES it. Emma is a fish. It doesn't matter if the water is in the tub, a pool or sprinkler, she loves the water. Funny enough though, she doesn't like the shower...
Oh how fun! I want to go! Looks like she has the place pretty much to herself too.
